Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return bascarts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
7. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
8. Reinforce safety programs, comply with food safety regulations, and notify management of unsafe conditions or repairs needed.
9. Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and adhering to all laws and company guidelines.
10. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflict reasonably and acting with honesty and integrity.
11. Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
12. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
