Job Description: Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger

Our goal is to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. You will establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. Demonstrating our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety is essential.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for:

1. Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving to bag at least five items per bag.
2. Assisting in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
3. Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
4. Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
5. Informing customers of grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
6. Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
7. Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintaining cleanliness of all areas.
8. Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
9. Reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to all food safety regulations.
10. Practicing preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting repairs.
11. Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers with product questions.
12. Following all legal and company guidelines, and working cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
13. Managing conflicts professionally and acting with honesty and integrity.
14. Supporting and assisting customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
15. Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
