Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging using various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers about current grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather shopping carts for return.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all store areas inside and outside.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
• Conduct price checks as needed and support safety and food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and providing support, especially to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Adhere to all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally and acting with honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues effectively.
