• Responsibilities include bagging groceries efficiently and carefully, assisting customers with loading bags, performing basic shelf conditioning, and informing customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handle seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, and assist with price checks.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Practice preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers, answer questions, and ensure compliance with all laws and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts professionally, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions, seek assistance when needed, and support customers with special needs, minors, and older adults.
