Responsibilities include:

• Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and understand the store layout for product location and price checks.
• Reinforce safety protocols, identify unsafe conditions, and report issues to management.
• Follow all food safety regulations and perform preventive equipment inspections, reporting repairs as needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally and acting with integrity.
• Support and assist diverse customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
