Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring at least five items per bag without damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials.
• Returning merchandise to shelves and gathering carts for return.
• Cleaning spills, trash, and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
• Conducting price checks and reinforcing safety procedures, including compliance with food safety regulations.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Adhering to all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and managing conflicts professionally.
• Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Supporting and assisting with interactions involving minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Salary Range: $15.35/hour
