Job description

Responsibilities

1. Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
2. Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
3. Fill bag racks and assist in stocking of milk and eggs.
4. Unload shopping carts for customers and keep carts in proper place.
5. Assist cashiers during checkout to ensure efficiency.
6. Retrieve stray carts from parking lot and keep the parking lot litter-free.
7. Maintain cleanliness of work stations, restrooms, and store areas.
8. Assist customers in locating products and explain the ValuCard program.
9. Assist in sweeping, mopping, and other cleaning duties.
10. Replace misplaced items and assist in price changes using shelf tags.
11. Work in parcel pick-up areas and handle trash and bale boxes as needed.
12. Properly use the intercom system and other communication tools.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.
