Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
• Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place on the front end.
• Assist cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
• Retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
• Maintain a neat and clean work station and surrounding areas.
• Assist in stocking milk, eggs, and other products.
• Help customers locate products.
• Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
• Assist in sweeping, mopping, and cleaning all store areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms and keep parking lot litter-free.
• Work in parcel pickup areas as directed.
• Replace misplaced items and collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
• Properly use the intercom system.
• Understand shelf tags for price changes and stock merchandise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
