Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
2. Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
3. Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
4. Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place at the front end and retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
5. Support cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
6. Maintain a neat and clean workstation and surrounding areas.
7. Assist in stocking milk and eggs, and help customers locate products.
8. Avoid carrying on conversations with other associates while bagging orders.
9. Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
10. Assist in sweeping, mopping, and keeping bathrooms and parking lot tidy.
11. Work in the parcel pick-up area as directed and replace misplaced items to proper locations.
12. Collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
13. Properly use the intercom system and understand shelf tags for price changes.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
