Job description

Essential Job Functions

• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to the company's policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and assist in stocking milk and eggs.
• Unload shopping carts for customers and retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
• Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place and maintain neatness around the work station.
• Assist cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
• Help customers locate products and replace misplaced items.
• Know and understand the ValuCard program and be able to explain it.
• Assist in sweeping, mopping, and keeping bathrooms clean.
• Participate in keeping the parking lot and shopping carts litter-free.
• Operate the parcel pick-up area as directed.
• Collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
• Properly use the intercom system.
• Understand shelf tags to assist with price changes.
• Stock merchandise and perform other duties as assigned.
