Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member in the United States to assist shoppers by returning carts to the store and performing basic retail tasks. You will interact with customers and help maintain clean, orderly store surroundings.

This role offers exposure to multiple store departments and opportunities to develop real-world customer service and teamwork skills in a fast-paced retail environment. Training is provided on-site.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment during winter conditions.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Work with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

What You'll be Doing:
