Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to support various retail tasks and interact with customers, helping to deliver above-and-beyond service. You will gain exposure to multiple store areas and learn operations that keep the store running smoothly in a family-owned environment.

Responsibilities

• Escort shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and interior trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment when needed.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning tasks.
• Assist service desk, store entrance, checkout lanes and parking areas.
• Collaborate with Health & Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral departments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
