Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level team members in Appleton, Wisconsin to support store operations and customer service. You will gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks, from cashier and service desk interactions to stocking and maintaining clean stores, while delivering above-and-beyond service.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment when needed.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Support service desk, entrance, check lanes and parking areas.

What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
