The Carver County Sheriff's Office is seeking a part-time Deputy Sheriff to serve as court security/bailiff and transports deputy. The role follows a fixed five-day schedule and may require overtime or hours outside the usual shift.

Starting pay ranges from $45.04 to $54.23 per hour, depending on qualifications. Primary duties include courtroom security, warrant arrests/transports, and other Deputy Sheriff responsibilities as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or two-year technical certificate in law enforcement or related field.
• Must possess or be eligible to possess a Minnesota POST License.
• Valid Minnesota Driver's License or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Enforce federal, state and local laws under supervision.
• Perform courtroom security and entry checkpoint security.
• Execute warrants, transport prisoners and perform mental health/medical transports as needed.
• Carry out other Deputy Sheriff duties as assigned by the Sergeant/Shift Supervisor.
