Job summary

Walden Security seeks dedicated security professionals to perform entrance control, roving patrols, and stationary post duties in court facilities in Kentucky. You will enforce federal law, protect personnel and the public, and prepare incident reports as required.

Requirements include a GED or high school diploma, at least three years as a certified law enforcement officer, a valid driver's license, DOJ clearance, and graduation from a certified law enforcement training academy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of verifiable experience as a certified law enforcement officer within last 7 years.
• Ability to read/write/speak English and apply rules and procedures.
• Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record for past 5 years; DOJ clearance.
• Completion of certified law enforcement training academy; able to provide proof.

Responsibilities

• Enforce entry and identification systems; screen for weapons and prohibited items.
• Roving patrol of court facilities and surrounding grounds.
• Guard stationary posts, monitor CCTV, alarms, and security devices.
• Provide armed escort services for judges and court personnel when directed.
• Direct traffic and control lights at court facilities as per SOPs.
• Enforce federal law and protect government employees, property, and the public.
• Prepare reports on incidents, labor hours, accidents, threats, and investigations.
• Secure unattended courtrooms and inspect rooms before proceedings.
• Maintain courtroom order and enforce rules during proceedings.
