Job summary

Walden Security is seeking a qualified security professional to support federal court facilities. You will enforce federal law, secure courtrooms, and perform screening and patrol duties to protect people and property.

The role requires working at court sites, enforcing orders, and preparing incident reports. A strong emphasis is placed on safeguarding court proceedings and maintaining order during operations.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to understand, explain and apply rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control and screening using equipment for weapons, contraband, and items.
• Roaming patrols of court facilities and grounds according to post orders.
• Stand guard at stationary posts and monitor security systems.
• Provide armed escort services for judges and court personnel when directed.
• Direct traffic and control lights at court properties where applicable.
• Enforce federal law and detain unauthorized individuals to protect people and property.
• Prepare reports on contract performance issues, incidents, and safety topics.
• Secure unattended courtrooms and inspect courts prior to proceedings.
• Maintain order in courtrooms and enforce local rules and judicial orders.
