Job summary
Superior Court of California, County of Sonoma seeks an Official Superior Court Reporter to record and transcribe verbatim court proceedings. The role includes reading back testimony, preparing transcripts, and certifying documents in accordance with government codes and court rules.

Qualifications
- Must be certified by the State of California as a CSR or Voice Writer.
- Court Reporter Real Time 3% must pass real-time proficiency test; Real Time 8% requires CRR and CART capability.
- Any combination of education, vocational training, or work experience to acquire the listed knowledge and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Attend sessions of the Superior Court and create an official verbatim record.
- Prepare timely transcripts upon request and certify final transcripts.
- Maintain notes, files and tapes as official records; ensure proper storage and retention.
