Cayuse Language Connect, LLC in Boston, MA seeks Indigenous Mexican Language Interpreters to support court proceedings on an as-needed basis. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of court interpretation, immigration, trafficking, hearings.
• Native or near-native fluency in English and an Indigenous Mexican language (Nahuatl, Yucatec Maya, Tzeltal, Tzotzil, Mixtec, Zapotec, Otomi).
• Familiarity with legal terminology.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret spoken communication in real time, preserving meaning and tone.
• Clarify cultural nuances to support cross-cultural understanding.
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all interactions.
• Complete required documentation and logs per protocols.
• Comply with applicable laws, policies, and codes of conduct.
