Qualifications

• Two (2) years of directly related experience (e.g., Law Enforcement, Facility Protection, Security, Dispatch, Corrections, Loss Prevention, Video Surveillance, Call Center).
• Background check and RAP Back program enrollment.
• Mandatory drug test and random testing.

Responsibilities

• Controls employee, prisoner, visitor, and volunteer access to secure doors and areas.
• Remotely monitors movement and responds to emergencies or lockdowns.
• Observes prisoners and common areas across jail facilities.
• Responds to alarms, calls for emergency response, and coordinates evacuations.
• Dispatches information for callouts and unit commands as directed by supervisors.
• Tests alarms, doors, and cameras; monitors security systems.
