Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access for employees, prisoners, visitors, and volunteers.
• Remotely monitor movement within jails and coordinate emergency responses.
• Observe prisoners and monitor housing areas, booking, visiting, and perimeters.
• Respond to alarms, manage communications, and coordinate lockdowns when needed.
• Handle callouts and relay information to supervisors.
• Test and monitor security systems and recording equipment.
• Assist with public inquiries and administrative tasks.
• Monitor radio traffic and manage non-emergency communications during crises.
• Maintain daily logs and enter data into information databases.
