Job summary

Veritas HHS Inc is seeking a Docket Clerk for the 20th Judicial District Child Support Services office in Nashville, TN. This position is vital in supporting attorneys and court specialists with the scheduling of hearings, managing the court docket, and preparing legal documents.

New hires will undergo a detailed training program to ensure they understand the child support process comprehensively. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), telehealth services, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s experience in legal, government services, or similar office preferred.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents at direction of attorney.
• Manage court dockets, adding and removing cases depending on service needed.
• Manage service of process.
• Manage court filings.
• Prepare cases for court hearing, including copying.
• Coordinate and monitor service of process.
• Route court documents to appropriate case managers and attorneys.
• Assist court and order entry specialist as needed.
• Transport documents to and from court for filing, as needed.
