Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year of court experience or related experience.
  • Valid Georgia driver's license.
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree in business administration, paralegal, criminal justice, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain case file information, determining general case categories, assigning case numbers, and entering data from case files.
  • Prepare court notices, subpoenas, sentences, and warrants by legal standards in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Attend court sessions and maintain an official record of recommendations and sentencing; maintain caseloads and schedules for assigned court.
  • Accurately assess fines and fees, balance and prepare bank deposits; transmit data to outside agencies as required.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
