Job summary

The Morris-Sussex Vicinage Family Division of the New Jersey Judiciary is hiring for a role requiring excellent oral and written communication and strong customer service skills. The successful candidate will apply knowledge of legal and jurisprudence procedures, demonstrating the ability to use technical competence in a hybrid work environment.

The position is based at the Morris County Courthouse in Morristown, NJ, with possible travel to Sussex County and other Judiciary locations.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.
• Bachelor's degree with 24 credit hours in behavioral or social sciences required.
• Internal applicants: currently holding the permanent title of Probation Officer or Investigator bilingual may apply.

Responsibilities

• Monitor case processing within a team and enforce court orders.
• Identify client and customer case management needs and inform about available services.
• Coordinate services for clients and approve continuances in line with rules.
• Maintain data and prepare cases for hearings; confer with judges and attorneys.
