Job summary

The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking a Court Services Supervisor 2 in the Atlantic/Cape May Vicinage. You will lead a case management team, coordinate staff, and drive performance improvements across divisions, ensuring high standards and collaboration with external agencies.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience in calendar management, case management, enforcement of court orders, or supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience in calendar management, case management, enforcement of court orders, and/or supervision.
• Ability to mentor staff and lead teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the work of a case management team
• Develop work unit team goals
• Define objectives; mentor and coach staff; provide direction and feedback
• Foster and maintain relationships with other divisions, external agencies, law enforcement, treatment providers and other stakeholders
• Recommends, develops and implements improvement plans in operating procedures, work processes and administrative processes.
• Oversees special projects, provides customer service, tracks cases for management purposes, reports progress and resolution of problems to achieve performance goals
• Performs case reviews to ensure systems accurately reflect team performance and reviews, monitors and prepares statistical reports
• Performs field duties and urine screenings when necessary
• Maintains flexibility since some activities occur during alternate hours
• Conducts formal performance evaluations
• Handles personnel and work performance issues; recommends disciplinary action when necessary
• Performs additional job duties as required
