Job summary

Follett Corporation in Newport News seeks a Course Materials Campus Lead to oversee a single in-store course materials department, supporting team members, and providing hands-on guidance to ensure timely availability of materials. Interfaces with faculty, students, and publishers to handle adoptions, selections and buyback.

Demonstrates knowledge of Follett systems and industry strategy to drive profitable sales, control expenses, and ensure policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supports course materials department team members, including hiring/training seasonal staff.
• Plans staff calendar and enforces policies with the store manager.
• Guides customers and department staff on buying decisions; oversees special-order functions.
• Analyzes buyback trends, enrollment figures, and adoptions to manage orders and inventory.
• Coordinates invoicing, packing, shipping, and inventory accuracy.
• Interacts with faculty, students, and publishers to support adoptions and issue resolution.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
