Job summary

Dallas County's District Attorney's Office is seeking a Courier II to operate a van or similar vehicle to pick up and deliver materials to the main office and various substations, including high-value items and sensitive documents. The job also includes mailroom duties and other clerical tasks.

Candidates must have a valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record, be able to pass a drug test, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years’ experience driving a vehicle and performing clerical duties, or 45 college credits.
• Must maintain confidentiality and follow department policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate a van, car, or other vehicle to pick up/deliver materials at main office and substations.
• Load materials and perform mailroom and clerical tasks.
• Receive, store, and maintain supplies; conduct inventory and records.
• Input, process, and distribute documents; reconcile data and funds; assist the public.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
