Dallas County's District Attorney's Office is seeking a Courier II to operate a van or similar vehicle to pick up and deliver materials to the main office and various substations, including high-value items and sensitive documents. The job also includes mailroom duties and other clerical tasks.
Candidates must have a valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record, be able to pass a drug test, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Education, Experience and Training: Graduation from an accredited high school/GED Program. Three (3) years of work related experience operating a motor vehicle and performing clerical duties or 45 hours of college credit or a combination of the two.
Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have a valid Texas Drivers License and good driving record. Will be required to provide a copy of 10-year driving history. Must maintain a good driving record and remain in compliance with Article II, Subdivision II of Chapter 90 of the Dallas County Code. Mandatory drug test prior to, and will be subject to random, unannounced drug and/or alcohol testing during employment.
Physical/Environmental Requirements: Requires the ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs. assisted. Ability to withstand prolonged sitting, standing, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, lifting, stretching and climbing ladders. Must be able to work in varying conditions, surroundings and weather conditions.
