Job summary

Dallas County, Texas seeks a delivery driver to operate a van or similar vehicle, delivering and picking up materials including high-value items and sensitive documents at multiple substations. The role also covers mailroom and clerical tasks, with emphasis on confidentiality and policy compliance.

In addition to driving, the position requires inventory tracking, customer service and adherence to safety and drug-testing requirements. Lift and physical tasks are involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED.
• Three years of driving and clerical experience, or 45 college credits.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must provide 10-year driving history and pass drug testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a van or vehicle to pick up and deliver materials and valuables at main office and substations.
• Load materials and perform mailroom and clerical duties as required.
• Receive, check, store and track supplies; document inventories and discrepancies.
• Perform clerical tasks within policy framework and provide customer service.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
