Job summary

The District Attorney's Office in Dallas County is seeking a Courier II to operate a vehicle, deliver and pick up materials, including high-value items and sensitive documents, and perform mailroom and clerical duties as required.

Responsibilities include loading, inventory, data entry, and providing excellent public service while maintaining confidentiality. A valid Texas driver’s license and able to lift up to 50 lbs are required; hiring across multiple substations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school/GED Program.
• Three (3) years of work related experience operating a motor vehicle and performing clerical duties or 45 hours of college credit or a combination of the two.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operates a vehicle to pick-up/deliver materials, supplies, receipts, time-sensitive items and items of value at main office and substations.
• Loads materials, performs mailroom and clerical duties as required.
• Receives, checks, stores and maintains supplies; conducts inventory and maintains records of transported items.
• Performs a variety of clerical tasks including inputting, processing and distributing documents, reconciling data, and providing customer service.
