Job summary

DHL Express in Jersey City is seeking a customer service oriented associate to support the Service Center with daily operations, billing inquiries, and shipment tracking. The role involves answering phones, greeting visitors, and coordinating with Sales/Service to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Previous experience in customer service or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Must pass background, security checks and medical screening.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service, sales and operational support for the Service Center.
• Answers phone and greets visitors.
• Resolves billing problems for the Service Center.
• Research shipment tracking requests and resolve issues.
• Communicates with Sales/Service to resolve customer problems.
• Assists with sorting, loading/unloading, shipment processing and documentation.
• Dispatches pickup and delivery information; arranges daily schedules.
• May assist with import/export documentation and customs clearance in some markets.
