Job summary

Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will reside in on-campus student homes, supervising groups of 8–13 students and supporting their academic, emotional, and social development.

Initially on a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, couples may progress to a placed houseparent role living with the same group. A rewarding life-choice with training and benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreation.
• Leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel activities.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
