Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring full-time Flex Houseparents—a two-person couple living on-campus to care for 8–13 students. You will supervise daily life, meals, activities, and chapel attendance, helping students develop academically, emotionally, and socially.

The role follows a nine consecutive days on duty, then three days off, with a path to a Placed Houseparent. Compensation includes $46,917 per person (+ housing, meals on duty), relocation assistance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students in on-campus homes.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
