Job summary

Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples live in student homes and supervise a group of 8-13 students, supporting their academic, emotional, and social development while maintaining a structured family-like environment.

Initial duties cover nine days on, three off, with transition to a Placed Houseparent role. Salary per person is $46,917+ with comprehensive benefits and relocation/training support.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning/developing activities with them.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel participation.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
