Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring Full-time Flex Houseparents—two-person, legally married couples who live on campus to care for 8–13 students in a home setting. You provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for academic, emotional, and social development.

The role follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle before transitioning to a placed houseparent with the same group. Benefits include $46,917 per person, housing, meals on duty, health, retirement plans, relocation

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
