Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, wellness, activities, devotions, and budgeting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule and can transition to a placed houseparent living arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse, married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
