Milton Hershey School (MHS) is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes, providing care, guidance and support for about 8–13 students.

The role evolves from initial placement in different homes to a steady home assignment. Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, wellness checks, transportation to activities, leading devotions, and maintaining household reports.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married commitment required for couples.
• Age 27+ for both spouses.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Ability to pass background checks and maintain a safe campus.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Transport students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational programs.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel services.
• Oversee budgeting and home reporting.
