Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students.

Initially, couples work a nine-day on/three-day off schedule and may transition to a Placed Houseparent role with ongoing housing and duties. Benefits include salary per person and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple requirement.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
