Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for a two-person couple. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising 8-13 students and guiding their academic, emotional, and social growth.

Typically nine days on duty followed by three off; later transition to a placed houseparent with a stable student home. Benefits include housing, meals, and comprehensive insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role, legally married at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
