Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) seeks dedicated Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes and guide a group of 8–13 students. You will provide supervision, mentorship, and a structured, family-like environment to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

The two-person role requires a married couple, age 27+, with a high school diploma or GED. Responsibilities include scheduling, devotions, transportation, budgeting, and reporting, with comprehensive benefits and housing included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for married couples, must have been married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
