Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents (couples) to live on campus and care for a group of 8–13 students. You will supervise daily routines, mentor students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development in a structured, family-like home.

Candidates must be a legally married couple for at least two years, both aged 27+, with a high school diploma or GED. Driving duties and weekends on rotation are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role; couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to about 8–13 students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
