Job summary

Columbia Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network, invites therapists to join a collaborative clinical team in Annapolis, MD. We support emergent and early-career therapists as they work toward licensure with supervision and growth opportunities.

The role emphasizes work with couples and families, in a setting that fosters professional development and integration with a multidisciplinary team. A $2,500 hiring incentive is offered at this location.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
• Clinical level licensure preferred (LCSW, LCPC).
• Experience working with couples and families (LGMFT or LMFT licensure preferred).
• Dedicated to ongoing professional development in mental health including supervision and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on clients’ needs.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and individualized treatment plans; manage insurance authorizations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and other therapists.
