Job summary

Cabarrus-Rowan Community Health Center in Charlotte area is seeking a County Nurse Manager to oversee day-to-day clinical operations across APHS clinics in the county. You will ensure staffing, supply management and high quality care.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will lead clinical supervisors, coordinate with HR, train staff, maintain EMR documentation, and support vaccination and vaccine inventory. This exempt, full-time role requires NC licensure and ambulatory care leadership.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ ambulatory care management experience.
• Experience in training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Devotes a minimum of 50% of time to direct patient care.
• Devotes up to 50% of time to administrative duties.
• Oversees day-to-day clinical functions of APHS clinics within the county.
• Supervises Clinical Supervisors and other clinical staff.
• Partners with HR for staff selection, promotion and discipline.
• Maintains clinical staff communications and training.
• Assists with vaccine program oversight and inventory management.
• Ensures infection control and quality improvement activities are followed.
