Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Atlanta seeks an Automotive Parts Specialist. You don’t have to tear engines down, but a background and knowledge of automotive parts is preferred. This role offers a path to grow within the NAPA family and explore other careers over time.

You will provide and source parts for fleet customers, assist team members, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license, a HS diploma or GED, and strong communication and listening skills

Qualifications

• Background knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customer.
• Willingness to learn all things auto parts.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry preferred.
• Ability to work around an airport environment in a shop environment.

What You Will Be Doing

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED. Technical or Trade school courses or degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great listening skills and empathy for customer
• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment

And if you have this, even better (not a deal breaker if you don’t):

• Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in airport ground support equipment
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems, a plus
• Entirely customer‑centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications
