Job summary

Selland’s Market Cafe is seeking Counter Server & Cashier team members in Sacramento to deliver outstanding guest service with a friendly, proactive approach. You will greet guests, support menu knowledge, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment while working as part of a strong team.

The role requires evening availability, positive attitude, and flexibility to work varied hours. Employee meals and growth opportunities are highlighted in our benefits program.

Qualifications

• Must be available evenings.
• Must maintain a positive, attentive, and hospitable demeanor.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
• Valid Responsible Beverage Serving (RBS) card.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (or have valid work permit).
• Reliable transportation to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding guest service as Counter Server & Cashier.
• Greet guests, share menu knowledge, and maintain cleanliness and hospitality standards.
• Handle cash and transactions accurately and efficiently.

Position Summary

Counter Server & Cashier team members ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a guest-friendly environment. This includes but is not limited to, greeting and acknowledging every guest in a positive manner, menu and product knowledge, keeping a clean and sanitary environment and all other components of the restaurant’s guest service standards while growing as part of a team!
