Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. in Poway, CA, is seeking a customer service/sales associate to assist customers, process orders, operate the register, and keep displays tidy and safe for shoppers.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We offer competitive compensation, hourly bonus potential, benefits, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and opportunities for growth across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of products is preferred.
• General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• General math skills to allow for cash accounting.
• An ability to learn is a must have!
• Excellent decision making and communication skills.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs.
• Processing orders via order management system.
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures.
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised.
• Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas.
• Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range:

- $15.00 - $29.19 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. - This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. - Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
