Job summary

Pro Star Rental is seeking a Counter Salesperson to ensure smooth branch operations by preparing rental orders for customers, handling contracts, and delivering exceptional service. The role requires a professional demeanor, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include processing payments, explaining fees and equipment operations, answering calls, recommending rentals, maintaining files, and assisting with accounts payable/receivable.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Selling experience advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Moderate computer skills including Word/Excel; basic data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Rent equipment and process orders via in-person and phone interactions; enter into computer system.
• Prepare rental forms and contracts; obtain signatures and information.
• Maintain daily contract file and process payments/deposits.
• Explain rental fees and item operations to customers.
• Handle phone orders and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist in accounts payable/receivable duties and invoicing.
• Keep showroom and displays clean and organized; assist customers with loading/unloading equipment.
