Job summary

Sonepar is recruiting for an Inside Sales position based in Aurora, Colorado. You will engage customers by phone or in person to take orders, quote prices, and coordinate with credit, warehouse, and outside sales teams. The role includes warehouse support and meeting sales targets.

The ideal candidate has strong math skills, solid knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team while embodying Sonepar’s core values.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to perform math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Establishes or improves relationships with customers by phone and visits to understand sales territory and needs.
• Interviews customers to determine products desired and records information for delivery.
• Handle warehouse duties including shipping, receiving, inventory control and order pulling.
• Liaise between customers and internal departments (credit, purchasing, warehouse, sales, management).
• Provide quotations or estimates of prices, terms and delivery for merchandise.
