Airgas in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring a Counter Sales Associate to engage customers with industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding equipment and supplies. You will guide tool selections, demonstrate equipment use, and help customers complete orders with accurate pricing and documentation.

The role emphasizes strong customer service in a fast-paced environment, with Monday–Friday schedules, safety compliance, and opportunities for growth within a leading industrial gas supplier.

Competenze

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year(s) of retail or customer service experience; industrial sales a plus.
• Forklift experience required; training provided on hire.
• Must be able to move items up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable with POS systems and basic math/computer tools.

Mansioni

• Assist customers with industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding equipment, and supplies.
• Process orders and transactions; help reconcile deposits.
• Coordinate with customers via phone, email, and in person for costs and delivery.
• Maintain welcoming showroom displays and stock shelves for a top-notch experience.
• Move cylinders and organize pallets; support branch operations and transfers.
