Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to thrive in a fast paced setting.
• Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus.
• Attention to detail in handling transactions.
• Availability for occasional overtime when the team needs extra support.

Responsibilities

• Counter Sales Associate will partner with customers to provide industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding equipment, and other essential supplies.
• Serve as a trusted guide, advising customers on tools, hardware, and materials needed to complete their projects.
• Demonstrates equipment use and shares insights on product quality to help customers pioneer new solutions.
• Adheres to company policies including safety and PPE to ensure a secure environment.
• Performs order entry and processes transactions; assists with reconciliation of deposits.
• Coordinates with customers and team via phone, email, and in person to provide information on costs and delivery.
• Maintains a positive work atmosphere and welcoming showroom displays.
