Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to balance high-energy customer interactions with operational support in a retail setting. You will guide customers on industrial and safety products, assist with sales transactions, and ensure accurate pricing and documentation.

The role offers a base salary with bonus opportunities, a comprehensive benefits package, and a 30-day start for benefits. Weekend-free schedule Monday–Friday, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1+ year of experience in retail or customer service; industrial sales exposure is a plus.
Able to move items up to 60 pounds regularly and 125 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related supplies.
Handle order entry and process transactions; assist with deposits reconciliation.
Coordinate with customers and team by phone, email, or in person to provide pricing and delivery information.
Advise customers on tools, hardware and materials for their projects.
Maintain showroom displays and stock shelves for a welcoming customer experience.
